I love a retelling of a fairy tail from the villains perspective. Plus this book was 99 cents. This is the retelling of the Evil Queen from Snow White and what happens after. I'm going on record that I love the Evil Queen. I rock a Wallet with her picture on it. I thought this was a good story entertaining not great. Toward the end of book one the story began to lag a bit, but book to en till the end was engaging. There were a couple of misses with me. I know most women have body issues, but I felt like all the female characters in this book were suffering from eating disorders. To fat to thin, all the women felt guilt over eating. Eating is normal ladies food is not your enemy. The word skank also grew tedious to me in the second half of this book. I'm just so tired of all the negativity toward women by other women. The Ending I both loved and thought was totally absurd. I was think wtf the whole time, but still enjoying it. Over all my thoughts are that this book is entertaining with a very attractive price tag.
