A co worker recommended this book to over and over. It actually feels like he's been talking about it for years. So I snatched it up at the beginning of the year when it was a daily deal book, but never got around to reading it. It seems everyone loves it, but me. I actually think I'm being pretty generous a 3 star rating. People said it was funny, but I guess the humour flew right by me. It just seemed like pages and pages of catty women, and men bickering. I just don't get it. I'd classify under suburban ennui, which is always a hit or miss category with me. To me fair is most misses with a few hits. So this isn't a bad book or poorly written its just me I don't relate to this genre very well. I went in thinking this was a murder mystery so maybe that accounts for some of my dissatisfaction. Overall a perfectly acceptable book, but not for me.
