This book has gorgeous illustrations. Kudos to the artists because they did an outstanding job. I'm not just a casual fan of asoiaf. I've read the 5 published books 3 times and ask all the related material plus I watch YouTube theories and podcasts about asoiaf . So YA I'm a bit more than a casual fan (oh I watch the show too). That being said I liked this book but it would have been impossible for me not to like it. I don't ready think this book is for casual fans, being a huge fan I was actually a bit bored with the end part of this book. I just don't like or care about Essos. I recommend this if you're part of the fandom, but most other people can probably skip it.
