I first read this book a very long time ago 21 years later it's still shamelessly entertaining. I don't think anyone is picking up a Jackie Collins novel looking for highbrow literature and that's okay. Sometimes my brain requires junk food. Toward the end I was growing a bit tired of this book though. My ebook version is 792 pages long. In the books defense I remember the plot every well. If this,was my first time reading it I'm sure I would have been riveted. This book was scandalous stuff to 13 year old me.
