I see everyone is doing this so I guess I will as well. I tend to forget to put in my rating something(ok often) while writing my review, something I'm trying remedy.
5 stars I loved it probably one of my favorites
4 stars I really liked it, but probably not my favorite.
3 stars a perfectly acceptable book, I liked it just didn't think it was all that special.
2 stars Didn't really care for it probably skimmed parts, but most likely managed it finish.
1 stars Disliked possibly didn't finish our by the end I was rage reading or mostly apathetic.
Half stars are usually used when something is almost there, but not quite.
I buy or borrow almost 100% percent of my books. I don't do netgalley or anything like that, and over time I've learned not to bother grabbing a bunch of freebies I'll most likely never read. So I've paid for around 90% of the books I review, so I do take price into account when I star, and review.
